I do not accept commissions that include:
* NSFW, pornographic, or sexually explicit content
* Inappropriate, hateful, or offensive subject matter
Non-explicit romantic or suggestive artwork may be considered.

Digital Art Disclaimer
All commissioned artwork is delivered digitally in .jpeg or .png format.
Vector illustrations are not currently available. If this changes, I will update this policy.
Digital vs. Print Policy
All artwork is intended for digital delivery unless:
* You specifically request an art print of your commission, or
* You are purchasing a keychain or other physical merchandise (see merchandise policies).
Merchandise Policies
Product Information
All merchandise sold through Buttercup Illustrations — including keychains, prints, and other art-related goods — is designed, packaged, and shipped with care.
Because many of these items are handmade or feature original artwork, small variations in color, placement, or finish may occur. These are normal and part of what makes each item unique.
Sales Policy
All merchandise sales are final unless otherwise stated.
Please review product details carefully before making your purchase.
If there is an issue with your order (such as a damaged or incorrect item), contact me within 7 days of delivery so I can review and help find a solution.
Shipping & Delivery
Shipping is complimentary (included in the item price).
I currently use standard delivery services and will provide an estimated delivery timeframe once your order has shipped.
Please note that I am not responsible for delays caused by postal carriers, weather, or customs.
If your package is lost or arrives damaged, please take a photo and contact me as soon as possible so I can assist.
Packaging
Each order is securely packaged to protect your item during transit.
Eco-friendly or recycled packaging materials may be used when available.
Cancellations
Because items are made to order or printed on demand, cancellations are not guaranteed once payment has been processed.
Please reach out immediately if you need to cancel — I’ll let you know if it’s still possible.
Returns & Exchanges
Due to the custom or handmade nature of most items, returns and exchanges are not accepted.
Exceptions may be made in rare cases of damage or shipping error.
If this applies to your order, please contact me with your order details and photos of the issue.
Custom Merchandise
If you’re ordering merchandise as part of a custom art commission (for example, a keychain featuring your commissioned artwork), please note:
* Production will begin after final artwork approval and payment.
* Shipping and delivery times vary depending on product type.
* Custom orders are final sale once printed or produced.
Original Artwork Rights & Usage
All commissioned artwork is created for the client’s personal, non-commercial use.
You are welcome to display, print, and share your commissioned art for personal enjoyment.
The artist retains the right to use all commissioned artwork for self-promotional purposes only (e.g., portfolio, website, or social media).
You may not resell, reproduce for profit, or use the artwork commercially without prior written agreement.
If you would like to purchase exclusive rights (full ownership and usage rights), this option is available for an additional fee via PayPal invoice.
The cost depends on the complexity and scope of the work.
Exclusive rights are only available for original commissions, not fanart.
Fanart Disclaimer
Fanart commissions are for personal enjoyment only and cannot be used commercially or purchased with exclusive rights.
Buttercup Illustrations makes no ownership claims over copyrighted characters, settings, or materials.
All rights remain with their respective creators, authors, and copyright holders.
These works are purely fan-based expressions and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the rights holders.
No copyright or trademark infringement is intended.
International Orders
If you need physical items shipped outside the United States, please contact me in advance.
I can provide estimated delivery times and available shipping options based on your location.

Cost of Art Creation (Flat Rate)
A flat-rate commission includes:
* The cost of art creation
* Standard shipping & handling (for prints or merchandise)
* Any applicable processing fees
Flat-rate pricing is non-negotiable and reflects a discounted rate.
Additional services such as exclusive rights, rush shipping, or major revisions will incur extra fees billed separately via PayPal.
Cost of Art Creation (Variable Pricing)
Pricing depends on several factors:
* Deadline urgency (faster = higher cost)
* Art complexity (number of characters, level of detail)
* Type of item (digital art, printed art, or merchandise)
Additional costs may apply for:
* Exclusive rights
* Extensive revisions
* Expedited turnaround
* Rush shipping

Payment Policy
Before starting your commission, we will confirm all details of your request.
I will provide a work-in-progress preview for your feedback.
Once the first draft is approved and no further major changes are requested, you will be invoiced.
Full payment is required upfront before final completion.
Payments are generally non-refundable.
Exceptions may be made under special circumstances and are handled case by case.

Payment Options
PayPal is currently the primary payment method.
If you’d like to use Pay in 4, your order must total at least $30 USD.
Timeline for Completion
Completion times depend on price, complexity, and current workload.
For merchandise or art prints, I will provide an estimated delivery timeline once production begins.
You will receive a final estimated delivery date via email when your item ships or your art print is sent.
Communication
Please allow 1–2 business days (excluding Sundays) for replies.
I strive to maintain clear, respectful, and timely communication — and I ask for the same courtesy in return.
